Flower Material: Ranunculus 小牡丹／陸蓮

小牡丹有可愛又重覆的花瓣，表達你想的愛意，用以比喻成小青蛙向心儀者的追求，遂變成小牡丹花。多數用於花球上，伴以其它玫瑰花，樣子嬌小的圓形，深愛喜愛。

小牡丹有荷蘭，有中國，澳洲進口的，有平有貴。極好的出口品種可以大約4-6cm以上，足以和玫瑰花盛開的大小一樣。亦有品種花芯中間為綠色或裙子般的花瓣，形態色彩千變之多，很少在其它花上出現。

Cloni ranunculus － 新品種有點田園玫瑰和小玫瑰的樣子， 花球最愛。

PomPom ranunculus － 新品種有如小綿球一樣，得意可愛。

經常性回答對花球選擇的問題，花球可不可以一模一樣的呀？對花店而言，是一個難題。花的品種之多，出現的時間短，就算你喜愛日子不對的根本沒有辦法。 其實唯有對花材的顏色了解，對花球的大小選對了，配合身材，所有花不論平貴都是好的花球。身材橫的要挑大型誇張的花球，立即顯瘦。嬌小的用大號的花，只有更小，不如鬱金香，馬啼蘭線條簡約的，把子長一點將人拉高，心太多花球重而招累贅。 

花材的顏色變化之多，很多花店要了解的，是你喜愛的顏色，有的給我們詳細的佈置色調，主題色調，那麼我們可以確訂相關的花材。如不需要理會佈置，就選一下要的主花材吧！
1）玫瑰花 （庭園玫瑰花或荷蘭小玫）
2）繡球花  （大型花球的選擇，可以搭配蘭花或任何小花。）
3）鬱金香 或 馬啼蘭 （是線條型，簡潔即可）
4）蘭花 （萬代蘭，蝴蝶蘭，泰蘭花，蕙蘭）
5）牡丹花 （粉／ 白／紅色都有，但因季節而定）

一般而言，這些花材可以是經常有的，兩種以上都已成為一個花球了。就這些花材，你可以跟花店說你要的顏色，青色，白色，粉色，有的不要露葉子，有的要田園式的葉及植物的，手柄有的用絲帶，有的用bling bling，都一一清楚交代， 跟我們花店說是會懂處理的，不用緊張到要跟這人這樣的花球，就沒有新意思了。

Fresh flowers are not manufactured. Their may be available at certain time and disappear from market within noticing.
Let's introduce the wedding flowers bouquet style.
鮮花不是預製的絲花，不是你想要怎樣，就說就起貨。要找合乎你要求的花球，首先要知花球的類別啊!

1.) The round: It is the most classical and traditional bride’s bouquet… and as it implies, it is round! It typically is small in size and features only one type of flower.
圓形。新娘子要球一般最穩打穩札的花球，非圓形莫屬。一般用兩三種花材，緊密的組合式公整的模式。


2.) The Nosegay: This bouquet is round in shape. But, compared to the round, the nosegay has less flowers and more greenery.
小型花球。要球小一點的花材，可以多一點其它的綠葉為托。 有時候新娘子要比較小型的花球不要太多花。



3.) The Cascade: May also be referred to as a teardrop bouquet or a waterfall bridal bouquet. Cascade wedding bouquets are rounded at the top and fall to a point.
拖尾或水滴型。古典的造形和優雅的長拖尾的婚紗，浪漫和複古的主題最適合不過。要現代一點，可以做單一花材如蝴蝶蘭。

4.) The Arm: This bouquet rests in the crook of your arm and can be referred to as the presentation bouquet or pageant bouquet. Flowers for this bouquet often have long stems and are left “as is” with a ribbon tied around them.
權杖型。要曲起手的花的權杖，有古典的浪漫。亦有時做了頒獎的花束。

5.) The Freeform: This one can also be called a contemporary bouquet. It does not have a specific or defined shape, has foliage coming out of the bouquet and usually utilizes tropical flowers.
由自型，田園式。是比較西方式的花束，十分隨意的將花材組合，不會刻意做成圓型，用的都是比較田園的花材，少花多草啊! 香港比較少用，由於香港的婚禮比較城市，少有綠草地或花園婚禮，所以新娘覺得太大膽的款式而少有嘗試。

6.) The Composite: This one is quite interesting and must take some serious time…A composite bouquet is made of petals wired or glued together to form a single large bloom with a ribbon tied to it.
組合式。用鐵線的方法，組合成為手握的花球，非常獨特。在沒有花泥發明以前，鐵線的方法是為做花球的手藝。
因為無水份供給已剪下的花朵，所以壽命有限。

Hand-tied bouquet- No plastics! 手綁花束

A new breed of hand-tied spiral bouquets -- originating in Europe -- has unfurled as a unique form of floral arrangement for the home. Hand-tied bouquet is different from your buying at the street florist in many ways. You can see the difference in followings:

原自歐洲的手綁花束,鬆開的花型優雅自然,是室內及家居最好的點綴。不同於市場上有些價廉的傳統花束,即使你以為花的外型和份量是一樣, 解開包裝後卻是兩回事。

1. No plastics cellulose tape is used.
We used the natural ropes and spiral method to tie the flowers together.
沒有膠紙。傳統的花束，以膠紙作為綑紮的工具。歐洲的手綁花束都是用草或麻繩,以螺旋形的手法束綁花材。

2. No plastics holder in each of the flower stems and on its flower buds.
Traditional florists use cellulose tape as binding and make their bouquets flat on the table. Therefore they used the plastics holder on the stems to make the flowers pop out. Instead, modern florists use a spiral binding technique with strings. And they use leaves and flowers material make a bunch of flowers voluminous.

沒有玻璃紙。傳統的花束,會在每支花柄上加上玻璃紙,以作為花與花之間的分隔空隙,亦令到花束看上來比較大一點。有些更在花蕾上再加上很明顯的膠網裝飾。花束都是平放於桌上,只有使用膠紙綑紮,不是立體的螺旋形,所以"膠紙"十分多看起來會"豐滿"一點。現代的花束都很環保, 亦講求美感,不要太多不自然的完素。

3. No plastics net wrapping material.
We used paper, raffia ribbon and sometimes fabric woven ribbon instead. A simplistic and modern style - environmental friendly as well.
沒有人造網。傳統的花束都喜愛以"膠網"作為包裝材料。現代的花束注重簡約,過量的包裝令人誤以為花材的分量多，是不實際的想法。自然的素材例如拉菲草及布絲帶,都是既環保,又簡單的包裝材料。

4. Value for money.
Your flowers is handle by our skillful florists beautifully. They spend more time than the traditional florist who make the wrap and you go. Plus, more flowers & greenery you will be receiving instead of a bunch of plastics wrap that you will not able to put it back to the vase.
物有所值。現代的花束都是由專業的花店從業員花心思和時間做好手綁花束，不同於傳統的花束快包裝。花束都以大量綠葉及襯花相伴,不是以“膠紙“做支撐花型，是物有所值的一件藝術品。

5. Use tasteful color scheme.
It is a professional florist's duty to make use of the beautiful color to create a piece of art that attractive to your eyes. We do not suggest to "mix-and-match" yourself. It ends up something very distasteful and their color looks strange.
使用經過組合的顔色系列。花店從業員只會使用悅目的顔色,以自然的表現花的美態,不會胡亂配搭。傳統的花束都只是隨手拿來數總花材綁起來, 沒有視覺上的美感可言。


6. No "baby breath" things.
We seldom use things such as "baby breath" and "solidago" as filler flowers. We use natural green leaves and Eustoma flowers instead. Modern florist make use of different trendy flowers to create new style.
不要滿天星及小黃鶯。滿天星及小黃鶯是很久以前常用的花材,現代的花束都很避免"老套"的外表而用綠葉及洋桔梗花作為填充花材了。現代的花材總類繁多,不是一定用相同常見的花材。

7. Hand-tied flowers are ready for decoration.
Traditional flowers make a big problem here. With the plastic stuffing inside the bouquet, you may not find it easy to put it beautifully into your vase. And also, sometimes the weight is not balance and will turn over the vase. Hand tied bouquet has a spiral structure that can standing on the table. It is so natural that you can put on vase but not seeing any plastic cellulose tape stick on the flowers.
手綁花束可立即放入花瓶內做擺設。傳統的花束都是用大量的膠紙作為花材的支架,不是可以做到把重量平均分佈。如果放入花瓶內會很容易翻倒，而且膠紙也不好看。現代的手綁花束都以螺旋形的手法,重量平衡,可以把花材站立起來。手綁的繩子是可以放入注滿水的花瓶內,即可成為點綴家居的藝術品。
